I'm glad you stopped by! I spent many years in my twenties travelling the world looking for greener pastures, and in the end I found them here - at the end of the world, in the green pastures of my home country, New Zealand. I'm married to my kiwi husband of 22 years and I have 4 kiwi kids. I have a day job I love as a medical receptionist, and I'm a part-time student of Sociology at Waikato University. I write from my home on one of those many New Zealand green pastures.

Hi Betty - yes near 100% humidity in Auckland these last two weeks helped bring out the curls!
Liz, I got the image from www.missmary.com - a royalty-free victorian clipart blog. I have had more comments about that picture than any of the other banners I have used. I love it too!
Love the curls. It also gets extremely humid here in houston, luckily both ethan and I love our curls!
